Aubrey Maternity Session | Consuelo
I got to play outside at one of my favorite spots in Aubrey to do a Maternity Session recently! Although my social media may lead you to believe otherwise, I do shoot outside, too and I really love it! Especially when they go this well.
As much as I LOVE doing in-home sessions, I do love a good outdoor session too – and this is one of my favorite places in Aubrey to do them! It’s secluded, and quiet, and gives one of the best sunsets ever. I have done family sessions, children’s sessions, even some fun unicorn sessions at this location! They always turn out phenomenally.
Meet Consuelo & Her Family!
Consuelo and her adorable family were so fun to work with! Even though this was technically a fall session – it was still 100 degrees outside this night and we were all melting. Consuelo’s husband was literally the best, and in between shots he would use their battery powered fan to cool her off as much as possible. What a great hubby! Consuelo and her husband laughed the whole time and were such a delight to be around. Their sweet little girl was the most precious thing in the world, but she wanted absolutely nothing to do with me. It’s a good thing I am not easily deterred! We pulled out all the stops to get her to crack a smile, and the most we ever got was a smirk. Oh well, when you’re this cute – smiling is not required to steal the show. (She was really the one in charge.)
Consuelo & Esteban are welcoming a bouncing baby BOY! So, we opted for this gorgeous powder blue maternity gown from my client closet. Mama did a FANTASTIC job following my guidance for dressing everyone else, and they all just look SO put together and amazing in their photos, don’t they? Consuelo looked BEAUTIFUL in this dress.
Can we just take a moment to admire this beautiful sky?! I would withstand a thousand sweltering Texas summers to shoot under skies like this! We were expecting some storms later that night, and there is just something so majestic and beautiful about pre-stormy skies in Texas.
